July 2017: PI Warren receives Seed funding

PI Warren has received a University of Utah Funding Incentive Seed Grant award to explore the use of metal organic framework (MOF)-derived carbons as sodium-ion battery anode materials. The research will study the effects of starting MOF structure on the energy storage capacity of MOF-derived carbons, including energy density, cycle life, and rate capacity. Nolan Ingersoll will be the primary student on the project.
